Owen's first swimming experience

Terrell's brother Deric has a pool at his house up in West Jordan so we took Owen up there to see how he liked it. My sister got him this cute crab floaty thing, THANKS SHERYL! He really liked it but he also like being out of it and in the water with daddy.

I have been gone for a while!

So, I have been looking at my blog and realized that I haven't posted anything in quite a while.
So here is the update.
We went to Green river, UT the 2nd week in May with my family and it was a blast. Terrell and I, along with his brother and wife, went rafting down the green and it was way fun. We thoiught it would be a nice relaxing ride down because where we got on the river and behind the house, the river was very calm. Well, while we were going down we started to hear some rapids and thought they had to be pretty big if we could hear them. we turned a corner in the river and couldn't see the river go anymore. All we could see was a big drop off and white bubbles from the rapids. We all FREAKED OUT!! So we paddled for our lives to the shore and the boys went out and scoped the drop off. They were gone for about 10 mintues and then they came back and said we have to go over. They had found a spot that wouldn't be to hard and we went for it. It was a man made dam kind of thing, but it was only about 10 feet. We went over and it was a lot of fun. I think we made a bigger deal of it than it really was but it was freaky to see the river end when you have no idea where or how far down it goes.
That was the biggest thing that happened but all in all, we had a good time.

IPhone applications

So, Owen got up really early this morning, well, only 6, but I am not used to it. So I sat on the couch being lazy watching TV as he played with his toys. I turned on The Early Show on CBS and they had a segment on an application for your IPhone that is totally rediculous. It made me a little mad. Some of them are funny and nice to have but this one went a little too far. I guess I am a little more protctive of the stuff out in the world since becoming a mom.

New blog

So in addition to Terrell doing his art, he has set up a blog. It is www.terrellsart.blogspot.com

You can see some his latest pieces. He has not put all of them up because they are presents and doesn't want them to be seen.

New hobby

Terrell has a lot of hobbies and he has started to get into one that he hasn't used in a while. He took up charcoal drawing around Christmas time. His family has 10 kids in it and he wanted to give his parents something special. So he thought he would draw a pircture with all the kids. It turned out very nice.

This is the finished product. His brother, Deric builds cabinets and other things so he made the frame that it was given in. Terrell's parents did not know about it and they both cried when they saw it Christmas morning. It was awesome.

Since then he has taken on some more people to draw. He really wanted to do one of Owen.

He has done such an amazing job and is getting better and better with every one.

He is going to strat doing them regularly, so if anyone wants one of their kids or anything else, let me know.

He has mastered it!

Owen is finally mobile!! I don't know if I should be excited to have him being growing up, or nervous that he can now get around and get into things faster than I can see. Such is life. He is doing great crawling and loves to come after me if I walk into the kitchen. It is very cute, but hard to get much accomplished.

I wanted to just say a little bit about my sweetheart on our special day. We were married 3 years ago today and it has been the best years of my life.
Terrell is the most amazing person and an even better father and husband.
I cannot express enough how happy he makes me. There has never been a day that he has not made me laugh. He does the most random things and I love it. He tells me that he loves me everyday and always gives me a kiss goodnoght.
We were blessed with a son in July and our relationship has grown even stronger. It is amazing to see how much a little being can change your life.
Terrell loves his family and will do anything for them. He is a good provider and the patriarch of our home. He loves the gospel and brings a wonderful testimony into our family.
I love him so much and look forward to many more years together and being with eachother for eternity,

*Who cooks dinner? I cook the meals. Unless it is the weekend and then we go out.

*Who kissed who first? I think it was mutual. We were at his appartment watching a movie on the couch. :)
