Owen Photoshoot

Owen is now 5 weeks old!!! I can't believe it.

Before he got too big we wanted to get pictures taken of him. My mom got me a sitting with a photographer in SLC when he was 3 weeks. We went up there on a Friaday and took about 200 pictures. He is usually very good and content being awake in the morning so we thought that would be a good time. He was good for the first 25 min but then he got hungry. Heather, the photographer, was very considerate and let me feed him so he would stop fussing. She had just had a baby in January so she understood. After he was fed he was a little better. We continued taking pictures for another 45 minutes. I think he got tired of the clicking and the flash on the camera.

We thought the shoot went really well and were able to see the pictures in one week. I patiently waited. Not really, I checked my email every day. They finally were posted and they are soooooo cute.

So after looking at these pictures and realizing that it would be too expensive to buy a lot of them, Terrell went out and bought a nice digital camera so he could take and edit pictures himself.

We bought the camera at about 6 pm last Saturday and by Sunday at 4 pm we had 500 pictures of Owen. Terrell got a little obsessed. He is a cute dad.

So Terrell took a bunch of pictures and has been editing them in Photoshop. He is doing a really good job. He took the ones that he had done already into work and someone asked him if he took pictures professionaly. Terrell was really proud about that.
